Arrival:  Plane trip . . . interesting.  Car trip . . . glad to see people.  They oooo and aaah over me and continuously tell me how stunning I am and how I look like grandpa, whoever he is.  I'm happy, very cuddly and grateful.

Arrival at destination:   This fat chick carries me into the house and rips me out of the carrier in front of a bunch of agents, then takes me into another room.  All this is a bit overwhelming and I realize mom is no where to be seen.  Kicked into self defense mode.  Proceeded with posturing, huffing, hissing and growling.  It works!  They are cautious of me and generally keep their distance.  Their voices are soothing, but all the smells on this cat post are saturating my senses.  They offer generous bribes . . . cautiously test some of them.  Strange place, strange smells, strange people . . . stay in self defense mode . . . be sure they understand under no circumstances will I tolerate anything.

Day two . . . still suspicious, but very lonely.  Self defense mode still activated.  I'm visited throughout the day with soft conversation and yummy bribes.  I gradually, cautiously lower my guard.  By evening, we are interacting, with tension.  I'm lonely and wanting to go home.  I start requesting to be released from my room.  I am informed that case was not going to happen.  There is great concern on their part that I may not be able to be bathed, nails trimmed or shown.  Wind takes some pictures, but I don't cooperate and squint in every shot.

Day three . . . still cautious, but starving for attention.  They are breaking me down with kindness.

I am playing along and pretending to fall for their seduction and bribes.  Getting lots of yummy food and enjoying play as well.  Still not thrilled when they pick me up, but, I've put off taking them out.  Play is fun and Ecko sneaks some shots of me during our play.  It's okay, wanted to prove I was a good of a model as my old man.  So far, Tuesday, day four is proving to be more yummy food, sweet talk and fun play.  It's not home, but I may tolerate these two for now.

Wednesday... more gourmet food, cuddles and play.  I'm really starting to get into this. Ecko checks all my paw weapons, including the hidden ones, and trims them all again . . . except my hidden ones, I refuse to let her touch those, you never know when I might need them.

Thursday...  It’s a mad house.  Ecko convinces me to allow her to trim my last two paw weapons.  I feel very comfortable now as she finishes off my manicure.  I cooperate completely for the bath and I'm just towel dried as it is really hot here. Wind keeps busy sweeping up hair.  I don't get as much attention today, there is a lot of activity and I watch out the front window as they load a lot of stuff in the vehicle.

Friday . . . it's show time... huge place, very loud, tension high, millions of people!   I'm tense, and keep things cautious.  I resent being dragged around and examined by strangers.  There is another dude; they call Tude that is always there. I'm betting he's the enemy, ready to employ some sort of torture to extract information from me . . . why else would he keep showing up at the same place I am?  With each encounter, I make it clearer he will definitely have a fight on his paws if he should decide to take me on.  I get more agitated as the evening progresses.  I prefer to be left alone.  I have two goofy little agent-in-training girls next to me that keep bouncing around having a grand time.  I make it clear to Ecko I am at my wit's edge.  The day is nearly over when I am in contact with a new stranger who is searching for something on my body. I hear the most horrifying screech from behind the curtain next to me! I jump to Def Con 2. All my defenses are ready and my senses are at peek level.  I make sure to warn everyone that I am ready to engage if necessary.   I keep my guard up through the night.  I dream of home and long to see you.  Wind and Ecko keep telling me how proud they are. I am now double grand, or something.

Day 7, Saturday.  I am still in Def Con 2.  The other dude, Tude, continues to hunt me. Ecko makes an effort to keep him out of my sight.  Wind also carries me to be searched and interrogated by different strangers.  I thought they were allies, but appears they are the enemy?  It isn't long before I decide to go to Def Con 1 and I'm basically at war with everyone.  It works somewhat, as they decide not to take me to all the strangers for interrogation.  I drop back to Def Con 2 when we get back to the Agency. I'm confused to why all this is happening.  Ecko phones you, then comes in, puts me on her lap and proceeds to massage the tension out of my body and explain that the Agency is not the enemy, apparently this weekend I am on maneuvers.  The Agency is disappointed in my actions, but is somewhat happy with the results of my examinations and interrogations of the strangers.  They say I'm a triple grand champion.

Day 8, Sunday.  Back to maneuvers . . .  now I understand what is expected of me and with each session with these strangers, I relax even more.  Near the end of the day I am noticing these two pretty little ladies on each side of me.  The one with the huge, plush coat and a cute little button nose was reaching around with her paw flirting with me.  I comply in my suave, agency way.  She responds positively.  I wonder if the stunning little lady on the other side with a sleek look and a cute face will respond to my charm . . . I slip a paw over to her. She finds me irresistible.  I feel confident I can use both of these ladies as assets, if needed.  By the end of the day I am doing my James Bond thing and flirting with all the girls, human and kitties alike.  Life is good.  Wind and Ecko are happy with my progress.  They say I am a quadruple grand champion, if I have the points.  I am happy and enjoy all the attention and praise I'm getting back at the Agency.  I'm especially happy to hear I will be returning home by the end of the week.

Day 9, Monday.  It's quiet and the activity level is much quieter.  I'm happy to just relax and enjoy the California atmosphere.  The day is bright and pleasant and I am dreaming of home.
